That might create a strain of useless auctions simply for the robot points. Like people selling 1 Wand of Nagmar(?) or 1 fat stacks of cash just so they could get the points. While doing this is technically allowed, it would be quite spam-o-rific. The "seller" most likely doesn't even care if the item sells and the buyers don't want to buy.

I did think about that.. it might be worth doing a trial.. jsut to see the effect it would have. Maybe if I made a qualifying rule that the value would have to start out being worth over 1 million meat..
I could always make it so that if you bought something that this would count as well..

about linking tokens or robots or whatever to KOLBay auctions seems to be a pretty bad idea, based on what has already been said. it is too easy for someone to fake an auction for 1 million+ meat and have a clanmate, friend, or multi buy it, or something along those lines.
besides that, my current suggestions were kmailed to skycruise. no sense repeating them.

Apparently, my robot walked away in disgust.
The mini-game ship with care, is addictive. The highest I've reached is in the mid 3300's. And is the # spot because someone used a bot or there was a bug, or was the user being clever with the name they entered?

No I think there was a bug or something.. Unfortunately, I cannot wipe out the highscore listing for this.. not sure why the hosting service of mine released it withut providing this capability, but none the less, it is an interesting mini-game. I have no idea how those high scores were obtained!

So I have finnished the code for the new fight sewuence...
Before, if you had a Shield of Lordly Protection (SoLP) teh robot would automatically fail and the SoLP would lose a point.
Now... the surviving Robots from the Robot battle go on to fight the SoLP's if any and a robot has a 1 in 6 chance to topple over the Shield.. If no Shields remain, then the attacker either steals a token or position points form the defender. If the Shields do their job, then they only lose 1 point of damage from the SoLP.

I have a grand total of 2894 meat accessible to me (a bit more if I autosell inventory, of course). Over 11 million meat in Hagnk's, which i will probably never see again because I plan to play a lot of hardcore ascensions. Not easy to buy new robots and shields this way, which sucks because it looks like having multiple shields and robots just got a lot more important. What to do?

Also.. here's another change on the game mechanics.. at the start of a new round, you will get additional tokens based on your current number... If you have 11 or fewer tokens, you will gain a full 11. If you have 12-22 tokens, you will gain 10, 23-33, you will gain 9.. and so on up until 112 or more where you will gain only 1 token.
This change is made to prevent hoarders from coming up from the mid ranks like two games ago. it was somewhat fix the last competition but people were able to hover around 120 and get their full tokens and hoard them at that level.. So this hopefully has been solved.
The game is now set to reward the lucky and more importantly, the active. The PVP obviously favors the wealthy. Down the road there will be item drops.. diamonds. These will be able to be used (Eventually) at a shop to repair your robots/shields and also you will be able to tun these into full robots and shields if you have enough of those.
Having an inventory will allow you to hold these diamonds as well as other prizes like ribbons and trophies for placing in the top 5 etc.. this will be coming late this summer and will be retro active.. so keep playing and build these things up. Who knows. maybe I'll make more uses for them as time goes on..

That's going to take some effort and skill ; ) Ascension may be a problem, so the idea of it being based on performance ON Kolbay both encourages more activity and avoids ascension and wealth barriers.
The one game truly appreciated by all here, brought to us by The Jick and The Skullhead.
